Spirit was a rescue horse who touched many. He was an Arab stallion brought into SAHA extremely emaciated and weak from starvation. Save a Horse Australia supporters and volunteers rallied together with time and donations to give him the best of care and support. Volunteers led by Gold Coast Sanctuary Jen, did around the clock shifts, braving freezing temperature and the damp cold air to sit with this fellow all night to give him the best chance at survival. Sadly, it was not to be but his spirit nonetheless brought the crew and the many SAHA lovers together to commit saving many more in his name.
